Making a difference
Often people say to us, “Africa is so poor and so needy, what you do doesn’t really make a difference.”

*A mother and her daughter were walking on the beach. The tide rolled in an then out leaving thousands of starfish stranded on the beach to dry and die.
The child picked up a starfish and threw it back in the ocean. The Mother said, “Oh honey, that won’t make a difference. “ The child picked up another starfish, threw it into the ocean saying, “To this starfish, it will make a difference.”
