Life-changing impact
Hellen is a young Turkana woman who sought out Sister Freda because of a disfiguring keloid on her face. MEDS for Africa arranged funding for her treatment. She was successfully treated with surgery and post-operative radiation to prevent a recurrence. Obviously this was a life changing intervention for Hellen.
