Our Story
Vision for Kenya
In 2012 NorthPark Presbyterian Church Dallas, Texas and MEDS for Africa donated funds and equipment to construct a much needed eye clinic at Tumutumu Presbyterian Hospital in Karatina, Kenya. The clinic was dedicated by Rt. Rev. David R. Gathanju , Moderator of the Kenya Presbyterian Church and Dr. David Haymes representing NorthPark and MEDS for Africa. On the first day over 500 people were seen and the next day 12 cataract surgeries were performed. The clinic continues to deliver high quality eye care to the area.
