Girls Education, Mission & Service

Our Story

Providing support

Our Girl’s Education Mission is dedicating to empowering young girls to live a better future. We’re primarily in Kenya and taking girls entering junior high or high school and providing them with mentors, educational materials, a small stipend, uniforms and occasionally food. The cost is $300 per year. Sponsors will receive a picture and several letters from the girls regarding their progress. To stay in the GEMs program the girl must maintain a B average and attend school faithfully. MEDS for Africa believes that empowering girls is the way to the future. By any standard when girls and women are empowered and treated as equals the country does better and that is our goal. The fate of nations is tied to the status of women.

What you do to your women, you do to your nation.
